Some of you guys knows that my pc blown in november cos if a (I thought and several others) that it was a HDD failure, but it turned out to be the motherboard (and maybe the hdd aswell).

So I need a new motherboard and some shit like cpu and etc to get it runing, the spec are:

MSI K9N SLI-2F, nForce 570 SLI, DDR2.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ 2.8GHz Socket AM2.
Corsair Value S. PC5300 DDR2 4GB.
Samsung SpinPoint T166 500GB SATA2.
Gainward GeForce 8800GTS 640MB GDDR3.

This computer is 3 and a half year.
The part I have bought is a new WD Gravier Green 2TB.

More info can be found here: http://www.theborggaming.net/community/showthread.php?t=15253

Thanks for the help guys.

I checked the other thread and think that the advice "J" has been giving you is good:

Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 (there's no real alternative unless you go back a generation of chipsets or choose less reputable brands)
AMD Athlon II X3 435 or 445 (450 costs as much as an X2 550 Black Edition here, which would perhaps be preferrable if you spend those 10€ extra anyway)
2x2048MB 1600MHz CL9 memory sticks (I'd go with G.Skill ECO, because they run on lower voltages than most others)

That's spot on your budget and leaves very little wiggle room. AMD X4 CPUs don't make too much sense for general applications and the cash bonus doesn't relate that well into real world performance. Current Intel platforms aren't available at this price level altogether.

You're welcome - I'm always interested how something like this turns out, so let us know what you get and what you think of it in the end Smiley
