Well like each and every forum, there needs to be a set of rules....
for the most part anything goes, but even anything has a limit.. so the basics for those that need things spelled out.
General Rules
Spam - Going off topic isn't spam... going seriously off topic is, so no unncessary stupid posts, no posting for kicks, no pointless topics, basically, nothing stupid.
Warez - No warez, links, keygens, cracks, serials etc.. are to be posted or discussed.
No Explicit Material - self explanatory, users are of all ages, so it must be all PG-13, and legal, I WILL BAN WITHOUT WARNING if you break this rule
Advertising - Unless your name is Jason Merrill, expect to get banned.
Riceboys - no riceboys, this is self explanatory.
No Offensive Posts - There's a difference between, offensive behavior and offensive attitude, slag people off if you like, but go that step further and get racist, sexist, ageist, etc etc... and you prove:
a) that you have a lack of eloquence required to put down people
b) your cruising for a bruising from the "hand o' ban"
Avatars & Sigs - the limit with sigs is.... if it looks untidy to me, it goes, so the rule is ONE sig pic, reasonably sized, preferably under 400 pixels, i will delete without warning.
Topic Bumping - this goes under spam rules if you are not the original topic author. So before posting check the last post date and really consider whether your post will really add anything usefull to the topic or if what you have to say/ask can be done via PM. If not, just simply don't post.
Cars/Parts Requests/Begging - No Fucking Begging. Seriously. If it's not here, it's because noone felt like making it. it'll be made when someone DOES feel like it or you do it yourself. There are to be NO requests on the forums. PMing requests are fine. ONCE. If you dont get a reply, or they say no, dont ask again. If you're reported for it, you're banned. We are not here to serve you and we don't endorse requests in any form. Same goes for begging for releases. you'll know when it's done, because there'll be a link there. if you dont see a link, it's because it's not released or you're stupid. So don't go around bothering modelers to do things for you or annoying people to try to get them to release stuff/send you crap. Beggars will be met with a banning after one warning is ignored.
Annoying People for Updates - If there's no news in a topic on something for a really long time, it is NOT necessary to bump the topic asking about the status or updates. PM the author.. once. if they dont reply, you can assume you needn't worry about whatever it is you're sweating them about. they'll get to it when they get to it. not when you think it's a good time.
Forum Related Issues - No matter what the problem is, the moderation team has always the last word on the matter. Their decisions are final and should be respected.
other things will be amended and added, but for the most part the rules are pretty loose, i will clamp down on serious violations, so you have been warned.
