Disregarding the accuracy, the rear is convex, which would make it part of the late style or facelift model with the "square" lights, whatever it's called officially.
I can't tell for sure what year the body is based on. Apart from the different year's front and rear bumpers it has the early style black stripe, but since it's a separate piece on both older and newer models, you could've just painted it black on a later model year body. That's where the question originally came from, since it looks like a mix of old and new, I wanted to know which one you started out with. This whole explanation makes it sound much more complicated than it is, really grin

I marked the gap line on here for you to compare:

i believe the early zr1s had the old style front and the squared lights.. and the black stripe..  and also a 3rd brakelight at the top of the rear window that I haven't done/may not do..
I see what you mean on the front.. and of course you're right..   it looks like i need to crisp up the bottom of the bumper, too..

Indeed, the first model year ZR-1 package had that mix of old and new style elements you mentioned - I didn't consider that, but hey, it's not mentioned to be a ZR-1 anywhere in the thread so far grin Don't mind me then, keep it up.

It hasn't even been a year! I can't believe I've made this much progress on the model.

As far as constructive criticism goes, I'd bring up the reverse tyre tread texture and perhaps the slightly too edgy front fender lip curvature.

Artistically, still looking mean even with the smoother rear smiley

So I did some stuff to the roadster (again), thinking it might be fun to do something speedsterish (and finally dealing with the fender flares I'd always found way too awkward). It will get/already actually has the rear (meaning the lights/semi-spoiler/a similar bumper) of the coupe from ancient times (pg. 3). It's nowhere near getting textured or anything like that. The windowsbox doesn't have a keyboard right now, and I don't feel like going too far without shortcuts/a shift key.

I know, right? The healthy and the safe have ruined everything.

And speaking of everything, here's a thing. Hard bike parking! (Is it the late '80s?)

super tyte, y0..

needs a slimmer more aero/purposeful-looking brake lever and a rear entry rear dropout with screws to set the wheel location, though.. (in my opinion.)

still extraneously fresh, though.. i think i'd be scared to ride it.
what sorta geometry does it has?

eccentric bottom bracket, rear-facing dropout and a reversible seatpost!

that way you could get super-tight clearance, adjust the geometry, and shorten the wheelbase as you see fit. because with a steeper seat-tube, i think i'd be less scared to ride it... i'm thinking it's a big bike instead of something like a 56, since the headtube looks like it would be one for a 62-64cm bike if it had a straight top tube.... i'd have trouble reaching the bars on that one as-is.
